Crossfit "metcons" introduce a unique blending of traditional weight training, gymnastic movements, and plyometrics combined to produce a high-intensity workout. Metcons can last anywhere between 2-20minutes bridging the gap between the traditional energy-systems discussed in physiology textbooks.
